SINIA - cello + laptop

video digital
05'17" - HD
2015

on sinia a single take is what the author needs to reveal a site-specific performance that takes place in a remote location and involves the sonic dialogue between a cello and an abandoned watermill.
the piece unveils the position, relationship and concept behind the site-specific sonic act between sara galan and edu comelles. each of them forming an axis rising form the ground up above following the subtle movement of the iron wheel.
it seems that a mere documentation becomes more than that, it evolves and moves accordingly with what its been captured. an act of empathy and solidarity among performers.
